The nurse cocktail is a mix of Absolut Vodka, Licor 43 Liqueur and Root Beer. It has all of the flavors that a nurse would want in one drink. It is perfect for any party or get-together.
The name probably comes from the popular idiom "Nursing a Drink" which means consuming a beverage, specially if alcoholic, slowly and carefully to avoid intoxication or to preserve the drink longer. This cocktail needs a bit of nursing for sure.
