Rocky Mountain Bear Fucker #3

Did you know that a "Stiff Drink" is originally stuff that horror stories are made of?

MORE

In early 19th Century America, whiskey was served straight from barrels and these barrels of low quality hooch was also used by grave diggers to store and transport stolen bodies, since the alcohol prevented the bodies from rotting, and could pass off as barrels of whiskey in transport,

The worst part is, once the bodies were transported over the newly laid railroad and were off loaded at the laboratories, the thieves wouldn't discard the whiskey and would sell it to unsuspecting customers. These were called Stiff Drinks.

A very strong combination of Whiskey, Tequila and 151 Proof Rum or other variations of similar combination of strong liquors, it is understandably difficult to stomach and doesnu2019t have a desirable taste.

Although the recipe listed here usually makes it a little better with Peach Liqueur and others, it is still not easy to digest and is a potent drink to quickly intoxicate, hence the name, since finding a rocky mountain bear and trying to outrage its modesty is as suicidal as this drink.

The Rocky Mountain Bear Fucker is not a shot to order for yourself, but for others, like a friend on his birthday.

  • Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey

Tennessee Whiskey is a straight whiskey produced in the US state of Tennessee. Whiskey produced in Tennessee is technically and legally a Bourbon and is recognised as Bourbon internationally, but Tennessee manufacturers prefer to keep their produce separate from Bourbon. To be a legal Bourbon, a whiskey has to meet the following criteria

Produced in the United States and Territories (Puerto Rico) and the District of Columbia
Made from a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn
Aged in new, charred oak containers
Distilled to no more than 160 (U.S.) proof (80% alcohol by volume)
Entered into the container for aging at no more than 125 proof (62.5% alcohol by volume)
Bottled (like other whiskeys) at 80 proof or more (40% alcohol by volume)

Tennessee Whiskey meets all the requirements too, but they prefer keeping it distinct and as per the signed House Bill 1084 of 2013, requiring the Lincoln County process (which involves maple charcoal filtering) to be used for products produced in the state labeled as "Tennessee Whiskey", along with the existing requirements for bourbon. - Wikipedia

  • 1800 Tequila

1800 Tequila is a Mexican tequila brand owned by the Beckmann Family, the family owns the Jose Cuervo tequila brand too. 1800 is a 100% blue agave tequila bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. 1800 is named after the year tequila was first aged in oak casks.

  • Bacardi 151 Rum

Bacardi 151 is a discontinued brand of highly alcoholic Rum made by Bacardi Limited of Bermuda. It is has alcohol concentration level of 151 US Proof or has 75.5% alcohol by volume. Way higher than a regular 35% - 40% ABV of a standard Rum. Bacardi discontinued the 151 in 2016.

Because of it's high alcohol concentration a 151 Proof Rum is highly inflammable and is thus used in making stunning flaming shots. Bacardi probably discontinued the Bacardi 151 after a few lawsuits, but there are other brands of 151 Proof or overproof Rum available in the market
