Why was Gin and Tonic invented?
MOREThe Gin and Tonic was invented by the British in the 19th century as a way to make tonic water more palatable. Tonic water was originally used to prevent malaria but it was so bitter that it was difficult to drink. The addition of gin and lime made it much more palatable and turned it into a popular cocktail.
Tonic water was originally created by the British Army or Navy, as a medicinal drink to help fight malaria. The active ingredient in tonic water is quinine which has been shown to be effective in treating the disease. Today tonic water is still consumed for its medicinal benefits although it is also commonly mixed with gin or vodka to create a refreshing cocktail.

Hawaiian Fruit Punch
Fruit Punch refers to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks containing fruits or fruit juice. The Punch was introduced to the East India Company from the Indian Subcontinent in the late 17th Century, where a Paantsch, meaning Five, as a drink was frequently made with five ingredients, alcohol, sugar, juice from lime or lemon, water and spices.
In the USA, a fruit punch might be an artificially flavoured commercial beverage that might or might not contain any real fruit or fruit juice. In alcoholic beverages and popular culture, a Fruit Punch is usually a fruit based cocktail made for a large group and served in a large wide punch bowl with punch glasses to serve.

Hawaiian Punch

Another product of Hawaiian Punch is the Blue Hawaiian Punch, the Blue Hawaiian Punch is a little different and has apple, pineapple, passionfruit and orange along with apricot, papaya and guava flavours and is blue in colour.

Sour Apple Pucker is a sour apple-flavored fruit liqueur produced in the Netherlands by DeKuyper . Being just 15% ABV (30 proof) it's fairly low in spirit and is used in many cocktails.Blackberry Brandy

The high tannin content of blackberries tighten tissues and alleviates hemorrhoids, relieves intestinal inflammation. Blackberry brandy is high on antioxidants which help eliminate the free radicals in our body.
It also contains vitamin C, a byproduct of the copper pot stills used in the distillation process, Vitamin C helps prevent several diseases like Scurvy and Gout and boosts the immune system.Strawberry
Strawberry Syrup is another simple syrup of water, sugar and strawberry juice boiled and reduced to a syrup. Commercial Strawberry Syrup is manufactured by many and Hershey's strawberry syrup is the most known brand.
Strawberry Mix is mix of all natural high quality roasted seeds and dried berries, unsweetened dried strawberries and the Strawberry Mix Syrup is made with the same ingredients with added flavour, lycopene colourant, vegetable oil concentrate for colour, pectin and citric acid.
Watermelon Pucker
Pucker is a line of fruit-favoured liqueurs made by DeKuypers. Puckers are usually 15% ABV and is often used in mixed drinks.
