Orgasm Recipe

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve.

Orgasm ,we know what it is and surprisingly, several cocktails are named after this pleasurable experience!

Have you heard of the Orgasm-Shot or the O-Shot?

O-Shot is a non-surgical procedure that uses the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) from the single draw of blood from her body, to rejuvenate her vaginal tissues and enhance sexual pleasure. Do you think there is any relation between the O-Shot and an Orgasm Shot Cocktail? None we believe

Cocktails named Orgasm are mostly Vodka cocktails and are created as shooters/shots, be it Extatic Orgasm, Hot Wet Orgasm or Norwegian Orgasm, all of them are Vodka Cocktails but if it's Green then there must be a portion of Midori in it.

However, cocktails named after Orgasm usually don't have anything to do with the sensual experience derived from coitus or onanism, other than the claim of the mixologists who created them, that there will be an explosion of gustatory senses in your mouth when you drink the cocktail, and the pleasure is as good as an orgasm.

Well, to be honest, Orgasm Cocktail was created as part of an ongoing trend of naming cocktails with names having sexual connotations. So the explosion of taste is an Orgasm and this is not the only case either, Foodgasm is a derived word that has been in use for a while now.

It has been a long tradition of christening cocktails in embarrassing or quirky adult themes, embarrassing or else depends on your taste, but the names are mostly aimed at garnering attention and adding a kink to the drinking experience in a party or a club, where there are no children or sub adults to be careful of.

A woman at a house party screaming to the barman or friend manning the bar, "gimme a hot screaming G-spot orgasm please " might be the sort of erotic fun casually thrown around without having to even worry about reactions.

Note: The Orgasm Cocktail ( not sure if all the other cocktails named with the word Orgasm in it ) has official IBA recognition.

Creme de Cacao is a chocolate liqueur that has probably been produced and sold in France since as early as 1666. In America a Chocolate wine was popular in the 18th Century, it's ingredients included sherry, port, chocolate and sugar.

A modern recipe for chocolate liqueur at home lists the ingredients as chocolate extract, vanilla extract and simple syrup and in purest form, chocolate liqueur is clear and colours may be added.

Creme de Cacao can be consumed straight and as an apertif, in cocktails and in desserts, in dessert sauces, cakes and truffles.

  • Amaretto Almond Liqueur

Amaretto is a liqueur, a sweet Italian liqueur that originated in Saronno. There are different brands and each have their slight variations and ingredients vary from apricot kernel, bitter almonds, peach stones or almonds, all these are natural sources of the benzaldehyde that brings the almond flavour to the liqueur. Amaretto usually contains a 21% to 48% Alcohol by Volume.

Amaretto liqueur can be drunk straight or used as an ingredient in mixed drinks, or with coffee.

The name Amaretto originated from the Italian word amaro, meaning bitter. Amaretto's bitterness is derived from the drupe kernel and although the bitterness of Amaretto tends to be mild, sweeteners and at time sweet almonds are added to enhance the flavour of the final product.

  • Triple Sec

Triple-Sec is an Orange flavoured liqueur from France. It is made by macerating sun dried orange peel in alcohol for a day or more before a three step distillation. Triple Sec has a 15% to 40% ABV.

The Triple Sec name refers to the process of distillation. Sec in French means dry or distilled and triple refers to the triple distillation process.

It's been a popular liqueur for more than 150 years, the Dutch East India Company created orange liqueurs by steeping orange peels in alcohol from the island of Curaçao and called it Curaçao liquor, and unlike Triple Sec, the Dutch added spices and herbs to the orange and Curaçao comes in a variety of colours such as clear, orange or blue. Blue Curaçao being the most used of them, in cocktails. Triple Sec is made from neutral spirits and the Orange peel used is harvested from oranges that have the skin still green, so that the essential oils are still in the skin and has not been absorbed into the flesh. This gives Triple Sec the intense flavour.

  • Vodka

Vodka is an European clear distilled alcoholic drink that has been one of the most popular drinks across the world .

You'll find it to be the most popular spirit in drink making because of it's neutral taste and absence of flavour and colour.

Vodka is known to be good for the heart, and if consumed in moderation, can prove to be good for cardiovascular health

Note that these days there are flavoured Vodka available in the market too, and some cocktails do make use of them.

  • Light Cream

Cream can be used to make a creamy cocktail, but when you make a cream cocktail make sure you whip and make your own version. You can also go for a heavy whipped cream which is thicker than regular cream and milk fat can be between 30%-40%.
For a rich and creamy cocktail recipe, combine heavy cream with one shot of alcohol and powdered sugar, then whip it until soft peaks form for a fluffy consistency or you can use it as a loose cream.
