What is the weirdest cocktail of all?
MOREThere are plenty of weird cocktails but Sourtoe wins the title of the weirdest cocktail hands down, and why not! for it features a mummified human toe in a simple shot of Whiskey, usually Yukon Jack.
The custom has a story, and it all started during the prohibitions. In the 1920s, the rum running Linken brothers, Louie and Otto were caught in a blizzard and Louie accidentally wet his right foot and when they reached their cabin, his right foot was frozen solid. To prevent gangrene Otto used his axe to chop off Louie's toes and he kept them in a jar of alcohol.
In 1937, legend has it that Captain Dick Stevenson found this jar and the idea of the Sourtoe Cocktail Club popped in his mind, the membership criteria being “You can drink it fast. You can drink it slow. But your lips must touch that gnarly toe.”

Orange Amnesia Recipe
To successfully mix this large quantity of drink I recommend a gallon jug with a screw-down lid. Fill the gallon jug half full of 7-up, Sierra Mist, or any other decent lemon lime soda. Next add in four cups of Sunny Delight. Add all six packets of Crystal Light classic orange, screw down the lid, and shake until the contents are mixed thoroughly. Pour the orange mix into a punch bowl. Immediately add both bottles of Vodka and the remaining lemon lime soda and sunny delight. If desired add a bottle or two of Bawls to the mix for an added kick. Serve chilled. Serves up to five people very well!

Note that these days there are flavoured Vodka available in the market too, and some cocktails do make use of them.7 Up Soda
Soda refers to carbonated water, sweetened, flavoured or plain, but there is a difference between Soda and plain Carbonated Water or Sparkling Water, which is known as Seltzer Water, while Seltzer Water is plain water carbonated to add fizz, Soda water contains potassium bicarbonate and potassium sulphate in the water, and according to research Seltzer Water is safer for teeth health and sparkling water provides true hydration and is better at it than regular soda or diet soda.
Bawls Energy Drink
Available under several brand names with Red Bull being the holder of the major market share, these are usually carbonated drinks containing stimulants, usually caffeine, which is claimed to provide mental and physical stimulation. Note that Energy drinks are not Sports Drinks and are not substitute of “Food Energy” the energy we get from metabolism of food, hence the marketing tag like “Energy” which means a temporary augmented level of awareness and alertness.
Sunny Delight Orange Juice
Orange Juice is an excellent source of Vitamin C, one cup contains twice the daily recommended value. Vitamin C supports the immune system and helps fighting the common cold. The folate in Orange juice supports healthy fetal development. It is low calory and thus is already a qualified alternative to cola fizz in your cocktail if you want to keep your drinks acceptably healthy.
Orange Juice being citrus and naturally sweet and sour, it literally goes with almost any liquor, and of course Vodka being neutral, the best known pairing is with Vodka. But goes well with Dark Rum too, and you get the Planter's Punch, mix it with Champagne and you have made a mimosa, or with tequila to make a tequila sunrise.
