Beware of the death by Champagne
MOREEvery year approximately 24 people die hit by a flying champagne cork! That's more deaths than caused by poisonous spiders or lions!
That is because a popping cork travels at 55mph and be careful next time you are opening a bottle of champagne unless you have a murder in mind.

Musk Stick cocktail is a sweet musk flavoured cocktail that originates from Australia. It has several variants, one that is made from Musk Stick Lollies infused in Tequila, with Alize rosu00e9 liqueur for the colour, the other recipe uses Parfait d'Amour for a similar flavour.
Musk Sticks are fondant sticks, usually pink in colour, with the flavour reminiscent of a fruity musk perfume. They are very popular in Australia but is not with people in America or Europe.
Australian Food and Beverages website Taste.com.au who invented this cocktail, refers to it as a "Margarita with a sweet retro twist, a cocktail that needs 1-2 days for infusing the musk stick lollies into Tequila."
Look up the recipe of the Musk Stick Margarita on taste.com.au.
Our recipe uses 2 drops of syrup of Grenadine with Parfait d'Amour or Parfait Amour, a liquor with a similar flavour profile that you get from infusing musk sticks in tequila and using Alize rosu00e9 liqueur with that.
Vodka
Vodka is an European clear distilled alcoholic drink that has been one of the most popular drinks across the world .
You'll find it to be the most popular spirit in drink making because of it's neutral taste and absence of flavour and colour.
Vodka often replaces Gin in many traditional cocktails
Vodka is known to be good for the heart, and if consumed in moderation, can prove to be good for cardiovascular health
Note that these days there are flavoured Vodka available in the market too, and some cocktails do make use of them.Syrup Of Grenadine
Grenadine is a common non-alcoholic pomegranate syrup with a characteristic deep red colour. It is a very popular cocktail ingredient, used for its pomegranate flavour and more for its ability to add a reddish to pink tint to a cocktail.
The name Grenadine originates from the French for pomegranate, which is grenade.
Grenadine is not subjected to regulations like alcoholic beverages are, and there are no region specific formulae any more, and thus manufacturers often replace pomegranate with blackcurrant juice and other fruit juices while retaining the same flavour profile.
Many producers now use artificial ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, water, citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate and food grade red colour along with natural and artificial flavours.
