Italian Stallion Martini Recipe


To start, you'll need a shaker filled with crushed ice. Add the three primary ingredients into the shaker and shake for at least 60 seconds to get the alcohol truly chilled. After completion of the shaking, pour the contents of the shaker into a chilled cocktail glass. Next, add a long strand of lemon peel, making sure that you peel it over the glass to obtain the vast majority of the oil from the peel. The last step is to drink up, and enjoy! Make sure you drink responsibly, and have a plan in place if you need transportation.

  • Amaretto Di Saronno Liqueur

    Amaretto is a liqueur, a sweet Italian liqueur that originated in Saronno. There are different brands and each have their slight variations and ingredients vary from apricot kernel, bitter almonds, peach stones or almonds, all these are natural sources of the benzaldehyde that brings the almond flavour to the liqueur. Amaretto usually contains a 21% to 48% Alcohol by Volume.

    Amaretto liqueur can be drunk straight or used as an ingredient in mixed drinks, or with coffee.

    The name Amaretto originated from the Italian word amaro, meaning bitter. Amaretto's bitterness is derived from the drupe kernel and although the bitterness of Amaretto tends to be mild, sweeteners and at time sweet almonds are added to enhance the flavour of the final product.

  • Licor 43 Liqueur

    Licor 43 Liqueur is bright yellow, vanilla flavoured Spanish liqueur invented in 1946 by the Zamora family. It is said to be based on an ancient recipe, and the name comes from the 43 herbs and botanicals used to make it. It is light and sweet with a dominant vanilla flavour, with bright citrus and warm cinnamon flavours following it. In Spain it is mostly known as cuarenta y tres.
