Why do we call a mixed drink a cocktail?
MOREThere are several origin theories as noted in Difford's Guide, the two most plausible theories are here
The first relates to cocking up poor quality booze with herbs, bitters and mixes, as Cocktail historian David Wondrich writes “if you had an old horse you were trying to sell, you would put some ginger up it’s butt, and it would cock it’s tail up and be frisky. That was known as cock-tail.”
The second theory states that in an Mexican tavern, English sailors noticed that mixed drinks were stirred with the root of a plant known as cola de gallo, or cock's tail in English. The name came to England with the sailors and then to the USA.

Shake and strain into an ice-filled hurricane glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Alize
Alizé is a brand of alcoholic drinks produced in several varieties that can be consumed neat or can be used in mixed drinks.
The line consists of eight vodka-based liqueurs,which are 16% alcohol (32 proof). The products are Alizé Gold Passion, Red Passion, Bleu Passion, Peach, Apple, Pink Passion, Pineapple, and Mango. Absolut Citron Vodka is one of the main flavour variants of Absolut Vodka. Citron means lemon in Swedish, Absolut Citron is crafted from Swedish Winter wheat and water from a deep well in Ahus, the vodka is flavoured with citrus fruits.
It is a 40% ABV Vodka made from natural ingredients and no sugar is added to the pure Vodka during the flavour infusion, the taste is thus smooth and mellow, with a fresh lemon and lime flavour with a lemon peel note.Lemonade
This sweetened lemon flavoured beverage is an eternal popular throughout the world and there are varieties of homemade lemonades found everywhere. In North Africa and South Asia, cloudy lemonade dominates, be sure if your cocktail requires a clear lemonade or a cloudy one, which is indication of fruit pulp presence in the mix.
