What is the weirdest cocktail of all?
MOREThere are plenty of weird cocktails but Sourtoe wins the title of the weirdest cocktail hands down, and why not! for it features a mummified human toe in a simple shot of Whiskey, usually Yukon Jack.
The custom has a story, and it all started during the prohibitions. In the 1920s, the rum running Linken brothers, Louie and Otto were caught in a blizzard and Louie accidentally wet his right foot and when they reached their cabin, his right foot was frozen solid. To prevent gangrene Otto used his axe to chop off Louie's toes and he kept them in a jar of alcohol.
In 1937, legend has it that Captain Dick Stevenson found this jar and the idea of the Sourtoe Cocktail Club popped in his mind, the membership criteria being “You can drink it fast. You can drink it slow. But your lips must touch that gnarly toe.”

Shake and strain ingredients into a glass, and drink it down quickly.
Amaretto
Amaretto is a liqueur, a sweet Italian liqueur that originated in Saronno. There are different brands and each have their slight variations and ingredients vary from apricot kernel, bitter almonds, peach stones or almonds, all these are natural sources of the benzaldehyde that brings the almond flavour to the liqueur. Amaretto usually contains a 21% to 48% Alcohol by Volume.
Amaretto liqueur can be drunk straight or used as an ingredient in mixed drinks, or with coffee.
The name Amaretto originated from the Italian word amaro, meaning bitter. Amaretto's bitterness is derived from the drupe kernel and although the bitterness of Amaretto tends to be mild, sweeteners and at time sweet almonds are added to enhance the flavour of the final product.Grand Marnier
Grand Marnier is a French liqueur brand. Their most well known product is Grand MarnierCordon Rouge, an Orange flavoured liqueur created by Alexander Marnier Lapostolle in 1880.
It is made from a blend of Cognac brandy, distilled essence of bitter orange and sugar. It is 40% ABV or 80 proof in USA.Grand Marnier is a French Brand of liqueurs. The most well-known product is the Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, an orange flavoured liqueur made from a blend of Cognac, brandy, distilled essence of bitter Orange and sugar. The Cordon Rouge was created in 1880 by Alexander Marnier-Lapostolle. It has 40% ABV.
Grand Mariner is full of rich, complex flavours and intrigues of the Cognac, and makes cocktails taste. A Grand Mariner is a blend of Cognac and Triple Sec, it's not a traditional Curacao, it's a similar orange liqueur.
