Car Bomb Cocktails are pun with a political inclination, the names belong to the original creators and at Easy Cocktail Recipes, we don't intend to hurt anyone's sentiment at all. We urge visitors to take the name lightly and understand that we are not responsible for this name or tradition of naming such cocktails to make them political.

Please note that, none of the creators ever said that they wanted to make political pun using the Car Bomb name, but instead the name has a different origin.

The Car Bomb reference comes from its Bomb Shot style of making, where a shot glass of liquor is dropped into a glass of beer in a naval depth charge style. But, the oblique reference to the IRA and Car Bombings of Irish Revolutionaries is not to be missed.
