When did the word ‘cocktail’ first appear in print?

The word ‘cocktailfirst appeared in print is in 1803, and three years later, the definition of the word appeared in the May 6 1806 edition of The Balance and Columbian Repository a newspaper published in Hudson New York. The definition given was “a stimulating liquor composed of any kind of sugar water and bitters”. This is thought to be the first time that the word was used in reference to a mixed drink.

First you mix the juice and the Vodka. Next you pour the rum in the glass and without mixing add the tequila. now pour the krunked up apple juice in. PS. you can substitute scotch or buttershots for the rum and tequila (respectively)

  • Apple Juice

    Apple juice is a fruit juice made by maceration and pressing of an apple. The extract is usually clarified of suspended starch and pectin and then pasteurised and bottled or further clarified to produce a commercial juice. Apple juice manufacturing being an expensive process, it is mostly produced commercially worldwide.
