The Coffee Colada puts a caffeinated spin on the classic pina colada. It combines coffee liqueur, coconut cream and pineapple juice with rum for a tropical flavor fusion. The coffee liqueur ́s rich, roasted flavor melds beautifully with the coconut-pineapple flavors, adding depth and balancing the sweetness. A touch of cream contributes even more luscious texture, making this almost like a tropical coffee milkshake. Blending with crushed ice gives it a perfectly thick, frosty consistency reminiscent of soft serve ice cream. The coffee comes through most prominently up front before giving way to layers of nutty coconut and zesty pineapple. Garnish festively with a pineapple wedge, brandied cherry and paper umbrella. Sip this frozen coffee cocktail while dreaming of tropical beaches and warm sunny days.

  • White Rum

    In the making of Rum, the produce of the fermentation and distillation process of molasses is a transparent spirit, which is then aged in vats or barrels and the end result of the ageing is Rum.

    White Rum differs from Dark Rum in this process of ageing, while to produce a Dark Rum, the distillate is aged in a large charred oak barrel, White Rum is aged in big stainless still barrels.

    There are no legal categorisatoin of Rums and it's just a matter of practice that dark rum is used in cooking or is drunk straight or with a Cola , white rums are mostly used in cocktails.

  • Kahlua Coffee Liqueur

    Coffee liqueur is a liqueur produced by steeping roasted coffee, sugar and other ingredients in neutral spirit. The most famous coffee liqueur brands are Kahlua and Tia Maria, Kahlua has been made in Mexico since 1936.

    However Kahlua has a thick buttery taste, that doesn't always appeal to the preferences of an alcoholic beverage lover. Which is why many people enjoy coffee liqueur made using their own home recipes.

    Typical ingredients of coffee liqueur include liquor, espresso coffee, roasted coffee bean (and powder), sugar, and vanilla syrup.

    The characteristic flavor of coffee along with over a couple of hundreds compounds contribute to the taste of coffee liqueur. Caffeine is a major ingredient of coffee, and also might be a taste factor that influences the complex flavour profile that appeal to coffee liqueur drinkers' palate.     NOTE: In the absence of a Coffee Liqueur like Kahlua or Tia Maria, to make cocktails with Coffee Liqueur, Coffee Liqueur Syrup can be used as a substitute with the proportionate alcohol substituted with a triple distilled neutral Vodka.

  • Coconut Cream

    Coconut Cream, Creme de Coconut or Cream of Coconut is a condensed coconut milk, with a thick syrup consistency. It is used to sweeten tropical drinks like a classic pina colada.
    Note: For ease of use and flexibility, buy Coconut Milk Powder and mix with desired amount of water and beat it to get either a cream or milk.

  • Pineapple Juice

    Rich in antioxidants, this juice pressed from the pulp of the Pineapple is a good protection against cell degeneration, It contains bromelain, a group of enzymes known to reduce inflammation, improve digestion and boost immunity.     Whipped cream is a liquid heavy cream that has been whipped by a whisk or in a mixer until a light fluffy cream that holds its shape. The whipping makes the water and cream form a colloid and often dissolved gas is used which on expansion forms a firm colloid. Whipped cream is also called Chantilly cream.
    Whipped cream sold in aerosol cans, where the cream is instantly whipped by the expanding gas, is a ready to use whipped cream, and its known by several names like Squirty Cream, Spray Cream or Aerosol Cream, in Scotland it’s called Skooshy Cream. A common Squirty Cream brand in the United States is Reddi-Wip.
