Pour the Mandarine Napoleon and cherry brandy into a collins glass half-filled with ice cubes. Top with lemonade, to taste, and serve.
Mandarine Napoleon Orange Liqueur
Mandarine Napoleon has some history, a secret recipe and everything that makes a spirit worth remembering.
This orange liqueur was created for Napolean Bonaparte in the late 1700s or early 1800s, and later was sold to public first in 1892.
The recipe of this Orange Liqueur is secret and what is known about it's recipe reveals that it is a concoction of aged cognac, the emperors favoured brandy, mandarin orange peel along with some herbs and spices not known to the public.Cherry Brandy
Although the name is Brandy, Cherry Brandy is not a Brandy since Brandy is produced by distillation of wine, pomace or fruit mash, where as Cherry Brandy is produced by macerating cherries in neutral spirit, Vodka to be specific in it's case, it is not even macerated in any Brandy, so technically it is not a Brandy and it doesn't contain Brandy either, although some brands might add some Brandy but that's not a legal requirement. Cherry Brandy is a liqueur, and thus it is also known as Cherry Brandy Liqueur.
Cherry Brandy Liqueur is usually flavoured using spices such as cinnamon and cloves. One distinctive speciality of distillation of the cherry infused spirit is that the pot still for distillation has to be copper instead of stainless steel, copper helps produce a smoother distillate and most importantly removes the cyanide produced when cherries are distilledLemonade
This sweetened lemon flavoured beverage is an eternal popular throughout the world and there are varieties of homemade lemonades found everywhere. In North Africa and South Asia, cloudy lemonade dominates, be sure if your cocktail requires a clear lemonade or a cloudy one, which is indication of fruit pulp presence in the mix.
