The simple method to convert any recipe into a batch is, convert every ounce ( oz ) to a cup or every 30 ml to a cup, so say your drink has one liquor of 1 oz, you pour 1 cup of it and since 1 US Cup has 8 fl oz, you have the measure for a batch of 8 drinks straight away.
Similarly if a drink has a liquor measured 30 ml or 3 cl, you pour one cup of it too, and since 1 US Cup is about 240 ml, you have the measure for 8 drink again.

In a shaker muddle mint leaves, limes, and sugar. Add ice to shaker then pour in Vodka and triple sec. Shake and strain into a chilled, sugar-rimmed cocktail glass. Garnish with a mint leaf floating on top! Adjust amount of sugar you use by asking your customers their preference. Also great with splenda in substitution of sugar for people who are watching calories (made with splenda this drink is about 90 calories) or people who are diabetic. To make a quick version of this drink, use a lime squeezer and just tear up mint leaves, add sugar, Vodka and triple sec and shake away. Comes out just as good and no need to muddle! This drink uses Swedish Vodka like Absolut but any Vodka will do. It's really called a Swedish Mojito because the girl who developed it is Swedish.

Combine all ingredients, except the soda in a pitcher and chill completely. Sangria should age in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours in order to allow the flavors to develop. Before serving add the club soda. Pour over ice into a highball or pint class. Garnish with fresh fruit.
