Grape Bomb

Why do we call a mixed drink a cocktail?

MORE

There are several origin theories as noted in Difford's Guide, the two most plausible theories are here
The first relates to cocking up poor quality booze with herbs, bitters and mixes, as Cocktail historian David Wondrich writes “if you had an old horse you were trying to sell, you would put some ginger up it’s butt, and it would cock it’s tail up and be frisky. That was known as cock-tail.”

The second theory states that in an Mexican tavern, English sailors noticed that mixed drinks were stirred with the root of a plant known as cola de gallo, or cock's tail in English. The name came to England with the sailors and then to the USA.

Grape Bomb
Grape bomb is a popular Vodka cocktail containing a combinations of Vodka, Grape,Red Bull .Served using Shot glass.

Grape Bomb is a lively and stimulating Vodka cocktail with a unique flavour combination that tantalises the taste receptors. The grape flavour adds a fruity and somewhat sweet accent to the smoothness of the Vodka. When combined with the energising and fizzy Red Bull, the cocktail becomes vivacious and refreshing. The combination, served in a shot glass, is visually pleasing with its rich purple tint. The flavour experience starts with a rush of grape aroma, then the warmth of the Vodka, and finally the energising kick of the Red Bull. This combination of flavours results in a well-balanced and delightful cocktail that is popular due to its tempting taste.

The combo of Red Bull and Vodka has acquired popularity among young people for reasons other than taste. Those looking to improve their endurance during social gatherings and nightlife activities frequently choose this match. Red Bull's caffeine and other stimulating components can help people stay alert and energetic, lowering their chances of feeling lethargic or experiencing blackouts. The Vodka, on the other hand, induces feelings of relaxation and exhilaration, making it a great complement to Red Bull's energising effects. However, it is critical to consume this cocktail cautiously, as over consumption might have negative health consequences.

Grape Bomb Recipe

Pour 4 oz of Red Bull into a glass. Then pour 2 oz of grape Vodka into a shot glass, and drop the shot glass into the larger glass and drink.

This cocktail, well if one can call it a cocktail, is a simple drink for the evening when you wish to stay alert longer

A cocktail can\'t be simpler than this, Red Bull keeps you awake while Vodka keeps you drunk.

However , combining too much of Red Bull and Vodka is not a good idea.

Something in the name

Agreed, that the Grape Bomb gets its Bomb bit from the broader Bomb Shot, Depth Charge class of cocktails where a shot glass of liquor is dropped into a pitcher or glass of another liquor, and Grape from the Grape Vodka.

But, one can not ignore the coincidence of there being a strain of cannabis that is known to be quite potent and explosive, The G-Bomb or Grape Bomb strain is a pure Indica created by some mysterious growers and it is very potent and can catch it\'s user off guard because its THC levels can range between 20 and 23 percent. It gets its grape name from the shape of the light green, grape shaped bud that is covered in bright orange hair.

NOTE: The original recipe uses Grape Vodka but there are variations that use Grape Pucker with Grape Vodka.

  • Grape Vodka

Vodka is an European clear distilled alcoholic drink that has been one of the most popular drinks across the world .

You\'ll find it to be the most popular spirit in drink making because of it\'s neutral taste and absence of flavour and colour.

Vodka often replaces Gin in many traditional cocktails

Vodka is known to be good for the heart, and if consumed in moderation, can prove to be good for cardiovascular health

Note that these days there are flavoured Vodka available in the market too, and some cocktails do make use of them.

  • Red Bull

Red Bull is an Austrian Energy Drink brand and has the highest market share among energy drinks, with a share of 36% of the global market. Since it’s launch in 1987, more than 82 billion cans have been sold. Red Bull is regularly mixed with Vodka but is best avoided in over indulgence, since Red Bull has a fair amount of caffeine and when alcohol is mixed with caffeine, the caffeine masks the depressant effect of alcohol and make drinkers stay alert through a much longer session of drinking and might increase the consumption of alcohol.
