Which Cocktails to Shake and which ones to Stir?

MORE

Shaking or Stirring depends on the level of dilution and texture the cocktail requires.
As a rule of thumb, cocktails made with spirits, tonics and bitters should be stirred and stirring results in a smooth mouth feel with precise dilution of the spirits and liqueurs without melting the ice too much or making the cocktail cold and bland.
While cocktails that feature fruit juices, egg whites, cream or cream based liqueurs, should be shaken. Shaking in a cocktail shaker with ice beats it into a smooth texture before straining into a glass.

Zippy Recipe

Cut your favourite fruit into pieces and soak in Everclear Grain Spirit as long as possible, mix all other ingredients in a large container, add loads of sugar and serve.

A Zippy cocktail is a mix of Ginger Ale, Everclear Grain Alcohol, Rum, Triple Sec, and Kool-Aid. The drink is popular among college students and young adults who want to get drunk quickly. Some people like to make the drink with diet ginger ale, but the drink is most commonly made with regular ginger ale. Because the ingredients are high in sugar, the drink is usually mixed with lots of ice and topped with a layer of sprite or another soft drink.

The Zippy cocktail is one of the most unique big batch cocktails you may ever have, for the way fruits are used in it. You can use any fruit you like, and the fruits are to be chopped and soaked in Everclear for as long as possible. All other ingredients are then mixed into it.
